Uncle Mart's Oxheart
|Uncle Mart's Oxheart|
|Variety type||open-pollinated, family heirloom|
- Indet., regular leaf plants. Fruits are irregularly shaped, but most are squarish small to medium pink hearts, 3-6 oz, very good sweet flavor. First fruits can have semi-hollow seed chambers, which is probably caused by environmental conditions such as cool spring weather. Later fruits are normal and juicy, not semi-hollow.
