West Virginia Straw Cross
From Tatiana's TOMATOBase
|West Virginia Straw Cross|
- Tall indeterminate regular leaf plants, good yield of very large red beefsteaks with very good balanced flavor, meaty and juicy. Fruits do not keep very long when ripe. Very nice discovery. 6-18 oz.
- Doug Zuknick, West Virginia 07
Year grown: 2011 (#1)
- Discovered by Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) in her 2011 garden in the patch of West Virginia Straw tomatoes grown from the seed shared by Doug Zuknick of West Virginia in 2007. One of the plants appeared regular leaf, and tomatoes matured to red.
